Corrigendum

Volume 294, February 2008

Siervo M, Frühbeck G, Dixon A, Goldberg GR, Coward WA, Murgatroyd PR, Prentice AM, Jebb SA. Efficiency of autoregulatory homeostatic responses to imposed caloric excess in lean men; doi:10.1152/ajpendo.00573.2007; http://ajpendo.physiology.org/cgi/content/full/294/2/E416.

In this article, part of a sentence was inadvertantly deleted during production. On p. E423, from the bottom of column 1 to the top of column 2, the full sentence should read as follows. "The fat storage was primarily derived from the diet with no evidence of net de novo lipogenesis because respiratory quotient values were below 1, and metabolic experiments have shown that de novo lipogenesis is, under most circumstances, a minor component in humans (41)."
