Corrigendum

Volume 292, April 2007

Sloth B, Holst JJ, Flint A, Gregersen NT, Astrup A. Effects of PYY1-36 and PYY3-36 on appetite, energy intake, energy expenditure, glucose and fat metabolism in obese and lean subjects; doi:10.1152/ajpendo.00450.2006; http://ajpendo.physiology.org/cgi/content/full/292/4/E1062.

In the abstract of this article, the sentence at line 16, "PYY3-36 at 0.8 pmol·kg–1·min–1 produced reduced EI, lower ratings of well-being, increases in FFA, postprandial glucose (only 0.8 pmol·kg–1·min–1 PYY3-36) and insulin concentrations, as well as heart rate and EE (only 0.8 pmol·kg–1·min–1 PYY3-36)" was incorrect and misleading. To be correct and clear, the sentence should read "PYY3-36 produced lower ratings of well-being and increases in heart rate, FFA, and postprandial insulin concentrations. Furthermore, high-dose PYY3-36 (0.8 pmol·kg–1·min–1) produced decreased EI and increased postprandial glucose concentrations and tendency to reduced EE."
